Salade de roquette, pastèque et feta à La pincée Poivrée Nº2

One more recipe for your summer arsenal!

In hot weather, it's often handy to have easy, quick, and incredibly refreshing recipes on hand. This flavorful and peppery salad is just that; it can be served as a main course, a side dish, or a unique addition to your next picnic in the park.

The La pincée Poivrée Nº2 blend is used liberally here and pairs wonderfully with the saltiness of the feta and the fruitiness of the watermelon. Drizzle it all with a good sherry vinegar or your favorite white balsamic, and that's all you need to be happy. Problem solved!

The ingredients

· 2 handfuls of arugula salad
· a few radishes, thinly sliced
· 1/2 red onion (or 2 shallots), finely chopped
· 1/2 fennel bulb, very thinly sliced
· 1/4 of a very sweet watermelon, cut into cubes or slices
· 2 tomatoes, diced (or a few cherry tomatoes, halved)
• a handful of fresh, chopped coriander
· 2 or 3 Lebanese cucumbers, cut into slices or ribbons
· 150g of plain feta cheese, crumbled by hand or cubed
· 2 tablespoons of olive oil
· 1 tbsp of sherry vinegar
· 1 tbsp of La pincée Poivrée Nº2 mix

Instructions

The procedure to follow...

Place all the ingredients in a large bowl, finishing with the watermelon and feta cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with La pincée Poivrée Nº2 seasoning. Toss to coat. Finish with the sherry vinegar and toss again. Serve immediately.

Serves 4 to 6

Note

To make this salad as refreshing as possible, especially in hot weather, allow at least an hour for the watermelon and other vegetables to chill before preparing it. If preparing in advance, it's best to chop all the ingredients, keep them refrigerated, and dress and dress them at the last minute to prevent the arugula from wilting.
